We talk about an educated world. But this means different things to different people from different cultures.
The American culture promotes a variety of core educational subjects such as reading, math, science, history, economics, health and technology.
However there are many cultures around the world that do not have any need for this type of information.
Many Third World countries are more concerned about the basics including water, food, and shelter.
So can there ever be an educated world?
Or is an educated world more of a process than an objective?
